Dr. Gwen Jones is an independent scholar, editor and translator. She studied at the UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies and specialises in modern Hungarian history with particular emphases on the role of the capital city, the Holocaust, and post-war antisemitism. She has worked on a number of public history archival projects, and is currently researching Western European leftist attitudes towards Eastern Europe at the Blinken Open Society Archives in Budapest.
