Hintergrundinformationen

Diese Umfrage wird von der Universitätsbibliothek J. C. Senckenberg im Zeitraum vom 19.01.2026 bis 19.02.2026 durchgeführt. Sie findet im Rahmen des Projektes Visual Analytics für Bilder aus kolonialen Kontexten (VABiKo) statt: https://vabiko.eu/

Der Bildbestand wird momentan noch als „Koloniales Bildarchiv“ der Universitätsbibliothek Frankfurt am Main unter folgendem Link präsentiert: https://sammlungen.ub.uni-frankfurt.de/kolonialesbildarchiv

Ziel des Projekts ist es, die derzeitige, in vielerlei Hinsicht unzeitgemäße Onlinepräsenz des Bildbestandes komplett zu erneuern. Zu diesem Zweck möchten wir die erweiterte Nutzer-Gemeinschaft einladen, uns mit Erfahrungen zur aktuellen Präsentation der Fotografien und letztendlich mit Ideen und Bedürfnisangaben für ein zukünftiges Bildportal zu unterstützen.

Hinweise zur Teilnahme an der Umfrage

Die Beantwortung der Fragen wird etwa 10 bis 15 Minuten in Anspruch nehmen. Bitte beachten Sie: Die Befragung lässt sich nicht unterbrechen und zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt fortführen.

 

Datenschutz

Die Umfrage wird nach den Vorgaben der Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DS-GVO) und entsprechend der Datenschutzerklärung der Universitätsbibliothek J. C. Senckenberg durchgeführt. Die Umfrage ist anonym, Daten werden nur in anonymisierter Form erhoben und lassen keine Rückschlüsse auf einzelne Personen zu.

Im eingesetzten Erhebungswerkzeug LimeSurvey ist die Funktion „Anonymisierte Antworten” aktiviert. Dadurch wird die IP-Adresse nicht gespeichert, es gibt keinen Datumsstempel, und es werden keine Cookies gesetzt. Bitte achten Sie darauf, in Freitextfeldern keinerlei personenbezogene Angaben zu sich selbst oder anderen zu machen.

Background information

This survey is being conducted by the J. C. Senckenberg University Library between 19.1.2026 and 19.2.2026. It is part of the project ‘Visual Analytics for Images from Colonial Contexts’ (VABiKo): https://vabiko.eu/

The image collection is currently still presented as the ‘Colonial Image Archive’ of the University Library of Frankfurt am Main: https://sammlungen.ub.uni-frankfurt.de/kolonialesbildarchiv

The aim of the project is to completely overhaul the current online presence of the image collection, which is outdated in many respects. To this end, we would like to invite the wider user community to support us with their experiences of the current presentation of the photographs and, ultimately, with ideas and requirements for a future image portal.

The survey is conducted in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the privacy policy of the J. C. Senckenberg University Library. The survey is anonymous; data is collected in anonymised form only and cannot be traced back to individual persons.

The ‘Anonymised Responses’ function is activated in the LimeSurvey survey tool used. This means that the IP address is not stored, there is no date stamp and no cookies are set. Please do not enter any personal information about yourself or others in free text fields.
