Iro Katsaridou studies Art History, Art Theory and Politics, and History of photography. She worked since 2005 as a curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessaloniki; since December 2021 she is the director of the MOMus – Thessaloniki Museum of Photography (
